Traditional Brazil Certified Organic Yerba Mate Tea

100% Certified Organic ~ Shade Grown ~ Single Sourced

Our certified organic mate is grown the way mate has always grown, within the forest amongst native plants, animals, rivers, and natural shade from neighboring trees, producing a clean, robust profile with infinitely complex subtle floral elements influenced by the forest’s wide range of life.

Traditional Brazil Certified Organic Yerba Mate Tea

Air Dried ~ Smoke Free

We take the greatest care to dry our mate without any smoke contact, retaining a beautiful green leaf color and superclean taste with every sip.

Tasting Notes

In 2020 Circle of Drink traveled to the richly diverse rainforest of Paraná, Southern Brazil. There, we found several thousand acres of yerba mate growing in perfect harmony with the trees, birds, stream and surrounding plants. Grown in the shade and air dried without the use of smoke contact, our Traditional Brazil offers a unique single-sourced flavor profile of soft malts and rich earthy tones with beautifully crisp florals and sweet hays for a well balanced and long lasting experience. Excellent latitude with cold mates, slightly warm in the 150ºF. 65ºC range and for that espresso-like experience, try 175ºF, 79ºC range.
