Big and burly muscular tones bursting from the brim, this Brazilian pure leaf has some serious intensity! Rich dark chocolate malt hits the palate with unfathomable layers of espresso, cedar, tobacco. A refreshing relief of sweet hay and brown sugar offer beautiful harmony and balance. Appreciate this wonderfully complex single-sourced yerba from the native forests of Southern Brazil.
Ingredients
Brazilian erva mate.
Brewing Instructions
Brew for 3–5 minutes in hot water (150–170ºF, 65ºC–76ºC) to achieve a full-bodied flavor. For a brighter, cleaner taste, brew in cold water. Optionally, use a traditional yerba mate cup (or cuia) and bombilla/bomba (filtered straw) until the flavor fades. Add a touch of honey for sweetness. Enjoy!
