The Guaraní Tribe of Paraná sipped mate from hollowed twigs. The Spanish developed the first intricate metal bombillas. The Argentines, Brazilians, and Paraguayans modernized the bombilla in the late 19th century. Throughout time, these most important instruments remained an integral element of enjoying yerba mate the traditional fashion, with a gourd. Persepolis pays homage to this evolution, with a solid buttery-smooth stainless steel body and 12-hole filtration encased in coil. Handmade and ready to enhance your mate experience from now and times to come.
