Certified Organic Yerba Mate Tea

Mission Organic Yerba Mate Tea by Circleofdrink.com

So maybe you’re wondering what is yerba mate? Yerba mate tea is like no other tea on Earth. Mate tea comes from South America — Paraguay, Argentina, Brazil, and Uruguay. It’s a holly tree native to the Amazonian Rain Forest, consumed for thousands of years by the indigenous tribes of the region.

Our organic yerba mate tea is the best you can find. Our customers from all over the world have shared their love and enthusiasm of our products — not only for our Mission Organic Yerba Mate, but our many blends of organic yerba mate.

Unlike traditional green tea, black tea, and coffee, yerba mate stands alone when it comes to providing sustainable, clean energy that lasts all day without any nasty jitters and crashing effects that accompany other stimulants.

Yes, yerba mate contains caffeine, but the caffein in yerba mate works differently. Scientists and regular yerba mate drinkers speculate that this is due to the other compounds in mate that actually relax the mind and body, as well as stimulate, simultaneously. This is the “magic” of yerba mate discussed in depth in the first yerba mate book written by Circle of Drink, Mateology (2013).

Yerba mate has a long list of impressive health benefits. Think about all the health benefits you’ve heard about acai, green tea, goji berries, etc., over the years. Well, yerba mate has been shown to have higher antioxidant capacity than all of those.

Here are a few quotes about yerba mate’s spectacular health benefits from notable scientist and institutions.

“There’re so many wonderful benefits to this plant. In fact, yerba mate is the plant that has the most nutrients of any plant grown on this Earth; any vegetable that you can eat, it has more nutrients in it…it’s full of vitamins and it doesn’t give you the jitters although it has the same amount of caffeine [as coffee], because it’s nutrifying your cells.”
—Dr. Theresa Ramsey, Center for Natural Healing

“It is difficult to find a plant in any area of the world equal to Mate in nutritional value.”
—Pasteur Institute and the Paris Scientific Society

The benefits of yerba mate simply can’t be ignored. Try our organic yerba mate today and see for yourself. Not only may you experience improved health, but yerba mate’s ability to forge friendships and community have an added benefit that’s beyond the physical body.

There’s a reason why mate has been called The Drink of Friendship.

If you’re reading this and are skeptical about Yerba Mate, it’s great that you’re critical about things, but let me tell you, BUY THIS. I found out about Yerba Mate on the JRE podcast forums, then fount CircleofDrink with Dave and his brother Mateo on his channel, and I’m so, so elated that I went on a limb and bought Yerba Mate. It has changed my life so infinitely for the better. I sleep like a baby, I have unlimited energy, but it’s not jittery like coffee, it’s much more intelligent, it’s like I have gigawatt batteries on reserve for whenever I need it, and to make that even better, it feels like I just did an hour of hardcore yoga when I drink Mate, my whole body is relaxed and focused, but I can execute ANY task at any moment without breaking a sweat. Not to mention the newfound hyper sensitivity to my surroundings and feelings, my cognitive power has increased, much more focused, and HAPPY. I’m feeling emotions I’ve never felt before, I legitimately cried at least 4 times in the last few days because I was so happy to be alive. And the benefits keep stacking up, also I don’t have any cravings for bad food, or food at all really, other than vegetables and fruits(I’m a raw vegan)!

I know I’m making super bold claims, but this is all true, you’ll just have to take my word for it I guess, I probably wouldn’t believe me if I was you either.

The fact that this is such a small, unknown niche of a fucktardedly incredible drink, Is incomprehensible to me, but it works.

Don’t get your Mate from iHerb or some corporate giant like that, get it from Dave Mate, he’s a super cool dude, and what he’s doing for the world, is an incredible and noble thing, I’m pointing everyone I know to Circle of Drink, and emphasize to support small businesses like it, and not the corporate monster counterparts.

If you’ve made it through this massive review, I thank you for taking the time, and I truly, I can’t express the urgency that you need to start taking advantage of this beautiful result of the evolutionary process.

Again, Dave Mate, and his brother Mateo, are epic, and that’s an understatement, people, and they deserve your business, my package came in 2 DAYS! And he writes you a personal note on your order paper, and gives you some free swag(Stickers), really a stand up dude.

Anyhow, that’s it really, and every word I wrote is absolutely true, I swear on all the love in the universe.

    POWERFUL CIRCLEOFDRINK

You’ll be getting MUCH more business if I have anything to say about it.

There’s a lot to taste in this yerba.

Flirting with the temperature from about 170 to 178 F provided interesting results.

At the cooler temperature it’s a lot like a good gunpowder green tea.
I enjoyed it there for a while and got all the grassy notes. It lingers on the palate after sipping and left me with some nice green wood aroma. It’s odd to write that because it doesn’t read as delicious. It really is delicious though.

As I used warmer water it changed. With a tea I might expect more woodsy or smoky flavors to come out. The flavor that came through now was a subtle clay and the green wood was gone. It was so light but surprising all the same. If you’ve enjoyed a nice Kukicha (twig tea) you can compare it to that. Some bitterness comes out over the recommended temperature. I didn’t find this altogether unpleasant until I reached my limit at about 178F (this could be due to the ‘youth’ of my gourd also).

It may not be a ‘ruined’ flavor at that point but not for the faint. It might be something I’ll return to since it’s bracing in the way that a cup of strong black coffee will be.

Overall I found the recommended temperature is the best for this yerba by far. I think this will make a great cold drink also. It could go well with lemon or orange even though it’s not as light on it’s own.

    What I used:
I used a natural gourd (medium size in my opinion) that still has a hint of it’s own natural bitterness. My gourd could account for some of the bitterness I tasted at higher temperatures.
I started off by using cool water for a couple of half-fills to prep both my gourd and the yerba.
