Our Stanton Cups pay homage to their love of spacious calabash mate cups encased in natural-dyed leather. Kit includes Stanton Cup Original Obscuro and Daniela Pure Alpaca Silver Bombilla.
No curing necessary as the gourd will naturally cure with extended use. Keep in a dry, cool environment when not in use. Natural oxidation and mold may occur during the first several weeks. No worries. Eventually the gourd will normalize with a uniform green color within, as the plant-based squash material finds an equilibrium.

Expect some dullness of luster around the filter with use, as alpaca silver will form a patina when exposed to air and temperature change. This will add to the character of your bombilla. Clean with warm soapy water. For a deep clean, boil in water for 5 minutes. Perfect for all grains of bombilla.
